Nautilus shell from the Philippines was cut and polished to make use of the natural wavy patterns from the internal chambers.  The animal used the air filled chambers to go up and down in the ocean.  Fresh water pearls and nautilus shell dangle about 2 +1/2 inches from sterling silver leverbacks.
