Rosasite was shaped using lapidary techniques then fitted into a soldered bronze prong setting.  The pendant is 1 3/8th inches tall by 1 inch wide and hangs from a chain of tiny white potato shaped fresh water pearls with gold plated links ending in an adjustable gold filled clasp and chain to a maximum of 18 inches.  Rosasite is mined in Mexico.  I love the bumpy turquoise colored knobs interspersed with sparkly opaque white crystals.
