Spiny oyster lives in the Pacific Ocean in the Gulf of California.  Typically the Native Americans used this material in their traditional turquoise and sterling silver jewelry.  I have been coveting this material for years and decided to try it out!  This rondell necklace is 30 inches longer and vintage sterling silver end cones were used.  The sterling  silver simple bail was soldered and formed by me.  Wear this when you want to make a statement!
