Spirit quartz or cactus quartz comes from South Africa.  This quartz has been treated with the aerospace technique by vapor deposition of metallic oxides to give it a rainbow aurora borealis effect.  The bail is silver plated.  This pendant is 1 1/2 inches long and hangs from a 16 inch sterling silver and lobster clasp necklace.
